Chelsea Joy Sutcliffe Nearly 2 Years Old!

It's hard to believe little CJ will turn 2 next Tuesday (14th October) - time certainly flies.

I wrote a little poem for Chelsea, as it's amazingly hard not being able to see her on her birthday. (I look forward to being there for Christmas, which is the next best thing!)

Chelsea and Daddy

There’s nothing in the world more precious than you
Your smile, laughter and intelligence always shine through

There is never a moment, I don't think about you
No mountain, distance or river I wouldn't swim through

While our time together is now limited and sometimes a little tough
Quality time, love and happiness remain there for us.

I love you Chelsea girl.

While you are too young to understand these words,
this poem will keep our love as free as the birds.

If ever you need me, no matter the time or place,
I will come running so you can see my face.

One day we'll look upon this and share many grins,
And until that day we must hold up our chins.
